Word's Styles: Using 'Heading' styles

Typing up your dissertation or thesis? Work smarter, more effectively, with MS Word's tools.
By using Heading Styles you can apply a hierarchical structure to your headings, and modify their formatting attributes to suit your needs. For example, increase the font size, change its colour, apply Bold, etc. Crucially, you can then go on to apply numbering to your headings AND create an automatic table of contents for them.
